Quality Standards

ISO 9001 Certified Quality Management & Systematic Verification for Industrial Cladding

Excellence in Engineering

Commitment to Zero-Defect Manufacturing & Global Standards

At Paneltech International LLC (PTI), uncompromising product quality is the cornerstone of our manufacturing philosophy. Operating from our production facility in Barka, Sultanate of Oman since 2009, we implement a comprehensive quality management system that complies with the internationally accepted BS EN ISO 9001 code of practice.

We believe international contractors, consultants, and procurement managers require predictable structural performance, uniform thermal insulation, and full compliance with building fire safety codes. Our quality policy guarantees end-to-end accountability across our entire portfolio—ranging from PIR, PU, and Rockwool sandwich panels to corrugated profile sheets, metal decking, and cold-formed Z & C purlins.

  • Full traceability from certified coil master batches to delivered packages on site.
  • Mandatory Mill Test Certificates (MTC) 3.1 verifying chemical and mechanical integrity.
  • Independent Quality Manager authority reporting directly to Executive Management.

Quality Framework

Our Three Pillars of Quality Assurance

Every sandwich panel and structural steel section manufactured at Paneltech undergoes three rigorous tiers of inspection to ensure performance in demanding Middle Eastern and worldwide climatic conditions.

01

1. Incoming Material Control

All raw materials—including hot-dip galvanized steel coils (PPGI), Aluzinc (PPAZ), aluminum coils, polyol & isocyanate chemicals, and structural basalt rockwool slabs—are quarantined upon receipt until laboratory assays verify coil thickness, coating mass, tensile yield, and chemical formulation consistency.

02

2. In-Process Roll-Line Monitoring

During continuous panel extrusion and profiling, automated sensors and trained QC auditors monitor roll-former alignment, steel surface preheating, corona discharge treatment, foam injection pressure, core density distribution, and curing tunnel temperature gradients at calibrated intervals.

03

3. Final Inspection & Testing

Finished goods are verified for sheet cover width, panel thickness, diagonal squareness, crown profile depth, and longitudinal camber. Batch specimens are subjected to destructive tensile peel tests, compressive strength checks, and thermal conductivity verification before packaging approval.

Technical Compliance

International Reference Testing Standards

Our raw materials, finished insulated sandwich panels, and cold-rolled structural steel profiles conform to international engineering standards recognized by leading consultants and testing bodies.

Product Category Governing Standard Key Parameter Verified Verification Method
Steel Facings & Substrates EN 10346 / ASTM A653 Base metal thickness (BMT), zinc coating mass (Z120–Z275), yield strength (250–550 MPa) Micrometer gauging & Mill Test Certificate (MTC) chemical analysis
Pre-Painted Coil Coatings EN 10169 / ASTM D3363 Dry film thickness (DFT 25µm), paint hardness, MEK solvent rubs, T-bend flexibility Electromagnetic DFT meters & solvent rub friction testing
PIR / PU Rigid Core ASTM D1621 / ASTM D1622 Core density (38–42 kg/m³), closed-cell content (>90%), compressive strength (>100 kPa) Volumetric laboratory weighing & load-cell compression testing
Rockwool Mineral Core EN 13162 / ASTM C612 Density (100–120 kg/m³), lamella perpendicular fiber alignment, Euroclass A1 reaction Density checks & certified laboratory flammability certificates
Composite Sandwich Panels EN 14509:2013 Cross-tensile bond strength, thermal transmittance (U-value), dimensional tolerances Universal testing machines & certified lambda calculation matrices
Cold-Formed Z & C Purlins BS EN 10025 / ASTM A572 High yield strength (Grade 345–450 MPa), punch hole positioning, dimensional accuracy Tensile test coupons & calibrated digital caliper validation
End-to-End Governance

Factory Quality Assurance Lifecycle

A transparent and systematically documented workflow that safeguards contractors against installation delays, product defects, and non-conformance claims.

1

Coil & Batch Intake

Master coils and raw resins are checked for transit integrity, barcode identification, and factory mill test verification against project specifications.

2

Continuous Production

In-line optical measurement of profile depths, joint interlocking tongues and grooves, foam expansion uniformity, and precision laser length cutting.

3

Lab Delamination Test

Destructive peel evaluation ensures chemical and structural adhesion between the steel facing and the PIR/Rockwool insulation core exceeds EN 14509 minimums.

4

Export Packing Sign-Off

Finished bundles are poly-wrapped, strapped with edge protectors, labeled with production traceability tags, and signed off by the Quality Manager.

Frequently Asked Questions

Critical quality information for quantity surveyors, project consultants, and structural engineers sourcing sandwich panels and profile sheets.

Paneltech International LLC operates under a documented Quality Management System that strictly complies with the BS EN ISO 9001 standard. All procedures, from raw coil intake to post-production storage and loading, are audited regularly to ensure full adherence to international manufacturing protocols.

Yes. Every shipment of sandwich panels, profile sheets, and cold-formed Z & C purlins is accompanied by certified MTC documentation detailing steel chemical composition, mechanical yield strength, zinc coating thickness, and paint dry film thickness (DFT).

Paneltech welcomes client-appointed third-party inspection agencies such as SGS, Bureau Veritas, TÜV, or Intertek. We facilitate factory access for raw material inspection, witnessing in-line manufacturing, sampling for laboratory destruction testing, and container loading validation.

All panels are protected with UV-resistant surface peel film on the pre-painted steel faces. Bundles are packaged with heavy-duty polystyrene top and bottom cushion blocks, corrugated edge corner protectors, and sealed in heavy-gauge polyethylene wrapping to prevent moisture ingress and mechanical damage during marine or flatbed overland transit.
